An overview of Apply, the GTTR online application system
Apply is an application system that allows you to apply online for postgraduate teacher training courses at training providers in England, Scotland and Wales. The GTTR does not deal with applications for postgraduate teacher training courses in Northern Ireland.
After registering to make your application, you will be asked to complete the following sections.
- Personal details
- Additional information (UK applicants only)
- Choices
- Education
- Personal statement
- Reference
- View all
- Check form
- Pay and send
You will need to mark every section as complete and obtain an online reference from your principal referee before you can pay for your application and send it to us.
Apply in Welsh
If you are applying only to training providers in Wales, you can apply in Welsh using the Welsh version of GTTR Apply, which provides both screen and help text in Welsh. Your principal referee can also provide your reference in Welsh using our online system for referees.
Receive correspondence in Welsh
In the Personal details section of GTTR Apply you can ask to receive correspondence from training providers in Wales and from the GTTR in Welsh.
