| Mid-September 2009 | We start to send applications to training providers for consideration. |
| 1 December 2009 | If you are applying for primary teaching courses, we must receive your application by this date to guarantee that your first choice training provider will consider you. After 1 December training providers can choose to stop receiving applications for primary teaching courses. |
| Mid-January 2010 | We start to decline offers for places on primary teaching courses if applicants do not make replies by the deadlines shown on Track. |
| 20 January 2010 | Final date for training providers to make decisions on all applications they received by 1 December 2009. |
| 15 March 2010 | Extra starts. If you do not hold a place and we cannot send your application to another training provider for consideration, you can use the Extra process to apply to one further training provider at a time on Track. |
| 30 June 2010 | We must receive your application by this date to send it to training providers for consideration. Applications received at the GTTR after this date are entered directly into the Clearing system. In Clearing you can contact training providers with vacancies to find out if they can consider you. |
| Early July 2010 | Clearing starts. All new applications we receive from this date are entered directly into our Clearing system. |
| 1 September 2010 | Final date for the receipt of applications at the GTTR. |
