My referee wants to provide a reference on paper. Can he or she do this?

No. Your referee must provide an online reference using our referees' system. If your referee will not agree to provide a reference online, you should nominate somebody else as a referee. You should confirm that your alternative referee will provide an online reference before logging into your application to enter their details and send an email to request a reference.
