Modular and flexible courses
Some training providers in England offer modular or flexible PGCE courses that are planned to cater for your personal needs and circumstances and to take account of your prior learning and experience. Modular and flexible courses normally have several different start and finish dates, offer full-time and part-time study modes and may offer some training through distance learning. These courses usually consist of blocks of study on specific subjects or topics.
Modular and flexible course provision will vary considerably at different training providers and you should discuss your particular needs and circumstances with providers before you apply.
On non-modular courses topics or subjects are usually studied for the full duration of the course.
