Funding for secondary ICT courses at training providers in England

The Teaching Agency allocates the funding for training providers in England to run courses within the GTTR scheme. For the 2013 application cycle training providers will not be receiving funding for secondary information and communications technology (ICT) courses, instead the Teaching Agency will be providing funding for courses that have computer science in their title.

Training providers have been made aware of this and have been reviewing the courses that they provide. If you are considering applying to a training provider in England for a course with ICT in the title, you may wish to contact the provider before submitting your application to ensure that the course is still available.

The above change does not apply to secondary ICT courses at training providers in Scotland or Wales.
