| 8 December 2011 | Last applications received at the GTTR by 1 December 2011 sent to you. This may be achieved earlier, but 8 December 2011 is the final deadline. Before this date you cannot close primary courses, but you may close middle years, secondary and post compulsory/further education courses. |
| 4 January 2012 | First Outstanding Decisions List (ODL) for all applications received at the GTTR by 1 December 2011 is available on web-link. |
| Mid-January 2012 | We start to record declines by default (DBDs) for applicants who have received offers for primary teaching courses and who do not reply to these offers by the deadline on their Offer letter. A rolling DBD commences and continues until the end of the cycle. |
| 18 January 2012 | We reject by default (RBD) all applicants whose applications were received at the GTTR by 1 December for whom you have made no decision or an interview decision but no final decision. A rolling RBD commences and continues through to the end of the cycle.

| 27 February 2012 | Last GT6 New choices letters sent to applicants without valid email addresses. These applicants now receive GT4 View changes on Track letters asking them to look at Track for information about applying to other training providers in Extra. | 30 June 2012 | Last date for receipt of applications through the main scheme. Applications received after this date will be entered directly into Clearing. |

| 23 August 2012 | We send you a reminder about outstanding confirmation decisions for applicants who have accepted conditional offers. (CF applicants). The GTTR Admissions Guide and Decision Processing Manual explains the confirmation procedure. |
| 1 September 2012 | We reject by default all 2011 applicants for whom you have made a Delayed Confirmation (DCF) decision but not provided a final confirmation decision. |
| 3 September 2012 | Last date for the receipt of 2012 applications at the GTTR. |
| 4 September 2012 | Final day that we send 2012 applications to you. |
| Early September 2012 | You can start to make Delayed Confirmation (DCF) decisions for applicants who applied in the 2012 application cycle. |
| 18 September 2012 | We reject by default all applicants for whom you have not made decisions, including applicants who applied to you in Extra. We decline by default all applicants who applied to you in Extra and who have not replied to your offers. |
| 16 October 2012 | We reject by default all applicants who have accepted conditional offers for whom you have not made a confirmation decision. |
| 29 October 2012 | Last date for amendments, making Delayed Confirmation decisions and for the receipt of RPAs. The application cycle is closed. |
